Aam Aadmi Party, is a new political front in Indian politics. It came into existence on 26th of November 2012 with a idea of “Democratic Socialism”, “Anti Corruption” and “Populism”.
Today AAP is in power in the National Capital of India with an extraordinary and mesmerizing mandate which it won against the seasoned old horses of Indian polity the Congress and the BJP. AAP also fought 2013 assembly election of Delhi and it had a good start with 28 assembly seats out of 70 and governed for 49 days.
AAP’s fundamental principle is to root out corruption in government services, streamline the bureaucratic rules and increase transparency in government functions.
The corrupt bureaucrats, businessmen and their greed is deep entrenched in the Indian political system and are well organized. Since the primary motto of AAP has been to target the corrupt and their bases, the are using every single method available to create an unfavorable atmosphere for AAP. The political opposition, a large section of electronic and print media, some of the so called intellectuals, all are overwhelmingly against the AAP, they just want to destroy the hope of new India, A vision of Bhagat Singh.
All the political parties are on one side and AAP on other side because corruption was, is and will never be an issue for any political front except Aam Aadmi Party. Infact politics is medium to earn for a lot them out there.
Up recently a section of 24/7 media have started a smear campaign at the people’s hope i.e. Aam Aadmi Party. They are trying to re-brand AAP the most patriotic political party of being anti-national.
Some of the AAP accomplishments in a short spell are:- provide free water, electricity at cheapest rate, free medical services, best education facilities, CCTV cameras in DTC and cluster buses, 1.5 lac CCTV cameras in all the 70 constituency. The direct beneficiaries of this schemes have been the middle class and the economically downtrodden. This all just for common man not for few industrialists.
AAP have to go a long way to form India of dreams, they have to fight a long battle ahead. AAP came into existence not only because their leadership is very efficient and effective but also because they have the best volunteers.
