Aam Aadmi Party Madhya Pradesh Convenor Alok Agarwal and Volunteers of the party protested against the Madhya Pradesh BJP Government, on 27th of june 2017 at the Board Square, Bhopal.
The Aam Aadmi Party members protested with a Black band tied around their mouth, and their hands chained. This was done to denote that ‘Freedom of expression’ was under grave danger.
The AAP Members Protested in support of farmers, traders and the common Man and against the National Security Act (NSA).
It seems like, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is undergoing a difficult time, due to protests from all sections of people, in every corner of the state.
The Chief Minister has ordered the DMs to apply National Security Act from 1st July 2017 for 3 months. After Mandsaur agitation, the Madhya Pradesh Government is averse to any form of protests and dissent against it.
Briefing the Media, Alok Agarwal said that ‘Shivraj tries to oppress the voice of farmers, traders and common man and that there is a undeclared Emergency in Madhya Pradesh.’
From 1st july 2017 any person can be arrested under section 3(2) of National Security Act, Mr. Alok Agarwal added. It is also to be noted that, under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and Alok Agarwal, AAP is now the fastest growing political opponent in Madhya Pradesh.
